Inspired by Robert W. Chambers’ “The King in Yellow”, Gelwaz conjures an unsettling, eclectic black-metal journey suffused with dread and disquiet. Stripped-down yet somehow rich in texture, the music weaves live violin, feedback, field recordings, and ritual drums into its shadowed fabric. Patient listeners shall be rewarded.
